Brad is the head of the Funds Services team at Estera in the Cayman Islands.

Brad has over 18 years’ experience in the international financial services industry, of which the last twelve years have been spent in the Cayman Islands funds industry. Brad has worked with some of the industry’s most prominent managers, counsel, brokers, auditors, administrators and directors.

Brad’s primary responsibility is Fund Fiduciary Services, where he provides Directorship and other related services to various investment vehicles.  Brad has extensive experience with Hedge Funds, Private Equity structures, Unit Trusts and Real Estate Funds across a range of different strategies, from emerging managers running a FX fund to large global multi-strategy superannuation funds, at various different stages of the funds life-cycle.

Immediately prior to joining Estera, Brad developed a successful career in the funds industry, with various positions at a large International Trust and Fund Administration Firm. Before transitioning into the funds area, Brad trained and practiced as a Tax and Management Accountant in New Zealand, with exposure to various industries including tourism, media, medical and manufacturing.

Brad is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants and Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand and holds both a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Professional Accountancy from Massey University in New Zealand.

Additionally, Brad also works with various non-profit associations including the Cayman Islands Touch Rugby Association, where he acts as Treasurer, and Hedge Funds Care (Help for Children), where he is on the board for the Committee of Hearts.

Families affected by the loss of a loved one will benefit from funds raised by Estera’s dress-down days. Employees raised a total of US$6,320 over the past year, which will be donated to the fiduciary and administration services provider’s chosen charity, HospiceCare, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing dignified, quality comfortable care, free of charge, to everyone in the Cayman Islands living with cancer or other end-stage diseases.

In his new role, Brad oversees Estera Cayman’s fund offering, including fund directorships and related fiduciary services to Cayman corporate structures.
