Alison Dyer-Fagundo is the Managing Director of Estera Services (Bermuda) Limited. She joined Estera in January 2016 and is currently the MLRO for the Bermuda office.
As a former partner with a global law firm, Alison has extensive experience in private equity transactions, derivatives, public and private company M&A activity, equity and debt markets, and partnerships in relation to both their formation and on-going transactions. She leads the members’ voluntary liquidation practice, acting as liquidator in most cases.
Alison has a long history of sitting on boards of Bermuda companies as an independent director. Alison provides commentary on the Bermuda funds and investment services, and private equity industries, a recent example including ‘Bermuda Fully Committed To EU Funds Passport Approval’, Hedgeweek – August 2015. She recently authored the article ‘Moments in the Sun’, STEP Journal - March 2017.
Alison was recommended by Legal 500 Caribbean 2014 and is listed as a 'Leading Lawyer' in the Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions categories for IFLR1000's 2015 rankings. Chambers Global 2013 named her a 'Leader in her Field', noting 'her significant experience in debt and equity financings and securities offerings and listings.' In 2012 IFLR1000 named Alison as a 'Leading Lawyer' in the Financial and Corporate category.
Alison was previously an elected member of the Bermuda Bar Council and the Professional Conduct Committee of the Bermuda Bar Council. Alison is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association. She is also a member of the UK Institute of Directors.
