ESTERA HOSTS LORD AHMAD FOR BUSINESS FORUM

Estera Bermuda’s office hosted Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, UK Foreign Office Minister of the Overseas Territories, on 25 April for a forum for leading business professionals to discuss a range of matters relating to the Island’s economy and opportunities for future growth.

Attendees included, Estera Managing Director Alison Dyer-Fagundo, His Excellency The Governor of Bermuda and representatives from the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA), Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR), Bermuda Chamber of Commerce and other key officials in Bermuda.

Ahead of his visit to Bermuda, Lord Ahmad said, “The UK remains committed to strong and positive relationships with the Overseas Territories now and following Brexit. We will continue to work in partnership with Bermuda in support of its security and prosperity. I look forward to engaging with its government, business leaders and members of civil society during my first visit to the island.”
