The fiduciary and administration services provider was named runner-up in the Isle of Man Trust Company of the Year category at the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards 2017.
Estera, which employs more than 350 people across 10 jurisdictions including more than 50 people at its Douglas office, was also nominated in the same category for Jersey and Guernsey.
The results were announced on 18 January at a ceremony held at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Sean Dowling, Group Director of Estera in the Isle of Man, said: “Being nominated in three separate jurisdictions was important recognition of the quality of Estera’s services, and to be recognised in the Isle of Man Trust Company of the Year category underlines the strength and depth of talent of our team, as well as being testament to the hard work and commitment every one of my colleagues
invests in delivering the highest quality services to our clients.
“This recognition for Estera comes after a busy and highly successful year for the business and I would like to congratulate every member of the team as well as thanking all our clients and advisors for their ongoing support.”
The Citywealth IFC Awards, now in their sixth year, were established to highlight excellence in the private wealth sector across the major international finance centres. The winners and runners up are selected through a combination of an assessment by an independent panel of industry judges and a public vote.
Estera’s Chief Executive Officer Farah Ballands has also been nominated for ‘Inspirational Woman of the Year’ in the Citywealth magazine’s Powerwomen Awards 2017, which recognise individuals and companies who maximise the potential of women in wealth. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London next month.
